Hood River, Oregon
Saturday, July 19 – Sunday, July 20
Hood River, long on the sport enthusiasts’ map for its incredible Columbia Gorge wind, serves it up in the mountain bike category as well.
There’s truly something to please every level of rider, from long and flowing pieces of trail, to tight and twisty concoctions, jumping opportunities, and entire areas dedicated to bridges, ladders, and a-frames.
in the mornings we'll be running our skill sessions on the Hood River Middle School grounds. In the afternoons we'll be riding at Post Canyon, and hopefully at Syncline too.
We've already made arrangements with the Hood River County Forestry department for Post Canyon, and have been hearing great things about the new trail, Happy Meal, so we're definitely excited for that. For Syncline we're just waiting for a bit more information on their recreational planning process, so check back here for news on that too.
New this year: Discover Bicycles as our host shop; the chance to get your own custom Dirt Series pack from Series sponsor, and local business, Dakine; Gorge Games events throughout the weekend; and new North kite gear squished into the back of our trailer. Ah … Hood River.
