North Vancouver, British Columbia
Saturday, April 19 – Sunday, April 20
Saturday, May 24 – Sunday, May 25
The North Shore trails are certainly infamous, but also incredible for learning new technical skills. This area has everything, from high profile stunts to challenging natural features, and trails suited to all riders, beginner through advanced.
Our morning skill sessions are held at Kirkstone Park in Lynn Valley, and our afternoon rides take place on Fromme and Seymour mountains, as well as in the Seymour Demo Forest trails.
Different Bikes hosts the majority of the camp from their North Vancouver location, but invites us to their West Vancouver shop for the Saturday night session. There not only do they provide excellent bike maintenance clinics and in-store specials, but they order in delicious food and drinks for all to enjoy.
And as a final bonus, Brenda Blakely, Dirt Series alum and owner of Beautiful Yoga, has volunteered to lead us in twenty minutes of mountain bike specific yoga at Kirkstone Park on Sunday morning, right before we start our regular skill sessions. In her own words, her class is "to increase strength, balance, and focus, and rejuvenate for an energetic second day of riding". We couldn't think of anything nicer.
North Vancouver is the home base for a number of Dirt Series coaches, and the support we have here is second to none. We look forward to seeing you at camp.
