Park City, Utah
Saturday, June 14 – Sunday, June 15
Tuesday, June 17 – Wednesday, June 18
The 2007 Park City camp generated such high registration numbers, record length wait lists, and countless requests for 2008 sign up information, that we’re coming back with not one but two camps this time around.
Both are scheduled in conjunction with the IMBA World Summit; the first is on the weekend leading up to it, and the second is on the Tuesday/Wednesday, timed to finish just before the Summit opening dinner.
As for training and riding specifics, we'll be holding the morning skill development sessions at the National Ability Center, just about a mile away from Cole Sports. For the afternoon rides, we'll head out to XC trails like Spiro, Lost Prospector, Mid Mountain, and those in the Round Valley Area, as well to some freeride and downhill gems in the Synderville Basin Recreation area.
We were originally planning on running afternoon rides up at Deer Valley as well, but unfortunately last year's amazing winter has left all their upper trails still under snow. We're really excited to get to play on so many trails in the valley, though, and since we've heard so many great things about Trailside Skills Area, we can't wait to check that out too.
Whether you are interested in cross-country, freeride, or downhill techniques, you will be able to learn them in our skill sessions on both mornings, and apply them to the trails on both afternoons. Many thanks to Cole Sport, Mountain Trails Foundation, and Basin Recreation for helping us get all the great options organized.
Note: Cole Sport is offering free use of their Rocky Mountain rental bikes to Dirt Series camp participants. If you're interested in taking advantage of this generous offer, follow their link just below to let them know.
