Canmore, AlbertaSaturday-Sunday, August 21-22We've been teaching in Canmore for the past seven years, and enjoying it more and more every time. The area is full of amazing cross-country terrain, Rebound Cycle has the program just dialed, and so many past participants volunteer to help that it feels like a reunion each time we roll into town. We run our morning skill sessions in Eagle Terrace Park, and head out on our afternoon rides from there. Between the Benchland and Alpine Club trails, Pirates, Riders, and the Reclaimer, there are so many great places to go, and so many fun things to learn. On Saturday night Rebound Cycle organizes maintenance sessions, appetizers, and drinks at Tapas Restaurant, just down the street. They've also been known to put in early orders for Sugoi's fall line, wheel the clothing over to Tapas, and offer it to participants before it's even hit the store shelves. All in all Canmore is a great camp location to pick up mountain bike basics, tune endurance racing skills, and hit some introductory to challenging cross-country and light freeride terrain. Just register early, as the Canmore camp always fills up quite far in advance.
