Saturday-Sunday, August 17-18
We've been teaching in Canmore for the past ten years, and enjoying it more and more every time. The area is full of amazing cross-country terrain, Rebound Cycle has the program just dialed, and so many past participants volunteer to help that it feels like a reunion each time we roll into town.
We run our morning skill sessions in Eagle Terrace Park, and head out on our afternoon rides from there. Between the Benchland and Alpine Club trails, Pirates, Riders, and the Reclaimer, there are so many great places to go, and so many fun things to learn.
On Saturday night Rebound Cycle organizes maintenance sessions, appetizers, and drinks. They've also been known to put in early orders for Sugoi's fall line, and offer it to participants before it's even hit the store shelves.
All in all Canmore is a great camp location to pick up mountain bike basics, tune endurance racing skills, and hit some introductory to challenging cross-country and light freeride terrain. Just register early, as the Canmore camp always fills up quite a ways in advance.
Want to check out a report from a past Canmore camp participant? If so, read what Michelle Gurney's great recap here. It's from a few years ago, but we still think it's awesome.

The Paintbox Lodge
The Paintbox Lodge is in a great downtown location and within riding distance of Rebound Cycle. Their rooms are beautiful and the whole lodge has the spirit and style of the Great Canadian Mountain Lodges of the early 1099's. Think rustic willow furniture, tartan carpets and cozy fireplaces ...
They've supported the Trek Dirt Series for a number of years and, for 2013, are offering a 25% on all rooms books for the camp weekend, with a minimum two-night stay. Book in advance by calling 1-888-678-6100 and mention that you are part of the Trek Dirt Series to get the discounted rates.
