Whistler is our home base and, understandably, among our favorite places to ride and teach.
Not only is it wonderful to know an area inside and out, but it's fantastic to have so much to know. Between the world-renowned mountain bike park, technically challenging valley climbs and descents, and the same friendly entry-level trails many of us learned on ourselves, Whistler has it dialed.
All of our Whistler camps allow each participant to select their specific riding focus. You can choose to spend all your time in the bike park, decide to check out the trails in the valley, or split your weekend between the two and experience them both.
The Whistler camps serve all rider levels, and all discipline interests, amazingly well. There is fantastic terrain on which to start in the sport, trails designed to develop intermediate technical skills, the ideal set up for learning jumps and drops, and then countless opportunities to develop far beyond the single blacks and the big GLC.
Three of our camps here are women's only, and two are co-ed.
Thanks to our partnership with Whistler Blackcomb, every participant receives one camp-specific bike park ticket at no additional cost. A second ticket, for those wanting to spend both days in the park, can be purchased at camp for just $25 including tax.
Whatever your level, whatever your bike, whatever your interest, and whatever you want to learn, you can do it, and put it into immediate practice, here.

We are proud to have the Aava Whistler Hotel as our local accommodation sponsor for the fifth year running. The hotel has a great location and amazing facilities, and offers incredible deals to Trek Dirt Series participants.
The room rate, available for camp weekends as well as for additional bookings all season long, starts at $89 plus taxes for a deluxe room with single or double occupancy. Options include two queen beds, a queen bed and a sofa bed, or a king bed.
The Aava features a dry sauna, hot tub, outdoor heated pool and complimentary locked valet bike storage. The hotel is located right in the village and less than a five-minute pedal from our host shops. As their promotional material says, "Discover a world where unsurpassed service and modern style come together to ensure your experience is a memorable one."
Here's an idea of how the rates change through the season:
May 24-25: $89 / night
June 14-15: $95 / night
June 21-22: $139 / night
July 12-13: $139 / night
September 6-7: $101 / night
To take advantage of these rates you need to book by phone or email; they are not available online. Call the Aava Hotel at 800-663-5644 or 604-932-2522 and mention the Trek Dirt Series, or email them at email@example.com and include Trek Dirt Series in the subject line.
The rates are based on availability, and there are some large events in Whistler on our camp weekends, so definitely book early as the space is sure to sell out.
And remember, you can book on this promotion on non-camp weekends as well. You just need to call or email them to confirm rates and mention the Trek Dirt Series so that they know you're a part of our program. Enjoy!
The Scandinave Spa outdoor spa, focused on hydrotherapy and massage, includes eucalyptus steam baths, wood burning Finnish saunas, Nordic waterfalls, hammocks and solariums. They're the epitome of cleansing and rejuvenation, and offer Trek Dirt Series camp participants 15% off the price of the baths, and 10% off the price of massage.
If you'd like to go before your camp date, you can download a digital card indicating you're part of our program right now. You can also pick up a card when you get to camp and use it from that point on. The coaching staff goes throughout the season and absolutely loves it.
