Next year's schedule coming January 2011

Winthrop, Washington

Saturday-Sunday, September 14-15, 2013

While Winthrop is known in the winter for its great cross-country skiing network, in the summer the miles of trail turn into mountain biking joy. Longer rides offer access to the higher alpine and stunning panoramic views, while others twist and turn, winding through the valley, wooded areas and streams.

Winthrop is a great camp location if you're looking for a cross-country or all-mountain experience, or even some introductory freeride instruction in the mornings followed by some fun pedaling in the afternoons. In Winthrop you'll find fast flowing singletrack, swooping corners, fun climbs and descents, and some rooted and rocky sections too.

We'll run our morning skill development sessions on the field just across the road from Methow Valley Cycle and Sport, and then head out to a variety of different trails for our afternoon instructional rides. These will include Sun Mountain, Bear Mountain, Buck Mountain, and the Rendezvous Loop as well.

Withrop is a beautiful late summer northwest spot, and the hospitality is second to none. We look forward to seeing you there.
